Tower Christian School Trumpeteer Never Ending Story
Episode 8 - October 2008
Continued by Samuel A. Montgomery
What I saw made me realized that something more then what had happened at school was going on...
No one was there. I also noticed their cars were gone. You could just think that it meant “Don’t worry, Luke. They’re probably just at the store”, but everything was gone. This is so weird, I thought, It’s somewhat like Odyssey. So, since I am a detective, I decided to go inside. I checked to see if no one was looking, then I opened the door and went in. My shoes gave echoing taps on the wooden floor. I searched the room, and I found a single baseball on the floor. “That’s weird,” I murmured to myself. “Anton loves baseball.” I picked it up, and a note was taped to the bottom of it which read: You may need this, signed, Anton. Anton! But, you may need this? A baseball? I wasn’t expecting to play catch soon, but I stuck it into my pocket. I walked down the hall and looked in all the rooms. Nothing was found. I walked out, sighing, and then I observed a small marking in one of the cabinet doors in the kitchen. The marking looked like one stem bending over, with two more intertwined one the right side and another sticking straight out on the other side. It was Anton’s mark! When we were both eight and seven, we had marks to tell things. This marking I think was “important”. I opened the door, and I found a memory card. I was about to say something but I quickly silenced my self. I hid behind the counter and peeked over. The back sliding door opened, and the same man that was dressed fully in black was coming through, holding a struggling someone... Nick! The moment I saw it was her I grabbed the baseball and threw it. It hit the man in the head. He cried out and clutched his head. A bump formed, it was easy to figure out.
“Luke?!?” Nick said.
The man looked at me and saw the memory card in my hand.
“Give me that!” He shouted at me as he lunged towards me.
“Run!” I said and then dashed to the front door with Nick following. I swung it open I saw something that I didn’t expect...
