Tower Christian School Trumpeteer Never Ending Story

Episode 17 - October 2009

Continued by Jacob Pruse

“Then something happened that showed us that Pete was not who he said he was...”

Mr. Won said, “Pete, good work getting Mr. Moon tied up, but I’m still not going to let you go.”
“But I have done everything you told me to do. I have fooled everyone that I am their ally. Do you still want more?” Pete said.
Mr. Won did not say anything and just paced back and forth over and over again. “You have taken something very precious from me. No use hiding it from me because I already know what it is,” Mr. Won said with a sly voice.
Pete then broke through the ropes and said, “You’re right, I have the memory chip.”
I was very confused, so I asked Nick, “What memory chip?”
“Most likely the one you stuffed down the dog’s throat,” Nick added.
I could hear Pete saying, “Leave Mr. Moon tied up. We can’t have him investigating us any longer.”
Then Mr. Won said “Good work Pete. Now give me the memory chip.”
“No way.”
I knew Pete couldn’t be trusted. He was leading my dad into a trap the whole time. So I said, “We have to get down there.”
Nick answered, “It’s probably way too dangerous.”
“But they tied up my dad,” I quietly exclaimed in fear. “We need to do something and fast!”
“But how do we get down without being seen or getting hurt?” Nick asked.
“I don’t know, but this ventilator shaft is making me really claustrophobic,” I said. “I can hardly breathe and I don’t have my inhaler. I need help fast,” I gasped, “or I’m not gonna make it!”
